Team Sai-Pal was in Palau from Jul 16, - 26, to compete in the 2008 second annual goodwill softball tournament. Team Sai-Pal was headed by manager Acio Yoshida, BASA President, Brian Adelbai. Listed on the team roster are: Dennis Renguul, Charito Ngircheungel,Leo Bobai, Clifton Silil, Johnvianey Tutiy, Junior Hiroichi, Luis Ngiraikelau. Three more players from Guam who joined Team Sai-Pal are Wills, Sheldon, and Swingley. Former Saipan residents who are now back in Palau also joined the team for this tournament, namely: Caleb Dulei, Johnny Sokau, and Ismael Aguon. We would like to thank all who participated in our fundraising. Because, of your support, we were able to send Team Sai-Pal to Palau for this Goodwill games. Last year, Team Sai-Pal was in Guam for the first Annual Goodwill Tournament. It was decided in Palau that Saipan will be the next hosting Island next year in June...We would like to recognized these ladies for their support for the team while in Palau: Felisa Brel, Helga Sambal, Charu Bobai, Jeanette Ngircheungel, and Ike...(last name not known..sry) Mom, thanks for them (meuilch el kukau) that you provided for Team Sai-Pal. The tournament was well organized, with lots of Palauan delicacies that was provided by Belau Force..We had great time in Palau. Thank you to all Belau Force members, Min. Elbuchel Sadang, all senators who donate foods, and drinks, Senator Baules for the trophies. see ya all in June 2009 in Saipan...
